What is this?

DynDNS gives your home connection a fixed name even when the public IP changes. Typical for cameras, NAS or the router.

  1. Create an account with your email and desired hostname.
  2. You can add more hostnames after logging in.
  3. Set DynDNS on the router or camera to “Custom / UserDefined”.
  4. Enter provider URL, email, password and the full hostname. Confirm the hostname every 30 days.

Provider URL for most devices:

http://ddns.pauker.at/nic/update

Free for now, with limits: few hostnames per account, monthly confirmation, private remote access only. No relay and no port forwarding from us – your public IP must be reachable.

Free account. Use the same email and password in your router or camera.
